Biggest Event For Developers AWS Summit
Alright, coming on to the point, today I want to talk about an event. This event is for developers who are mostly into Cloud Computing. Now a lot of you who are reading this article might not be able to travel to different cities and might have some pandemic restrictions over your place hence you can take advantage of the online events that are happening every other day around the world.
AWS Summit India 2022
One such event that I’m talking about and you can attend is the AWS summit that is happening on the 25th and 26th of May of this year. If you don’t know AWS is Amazon Web Services’, own cloud storage service that they provide and is a great way for you to host your website on the web. The AWS summit on the other hand is a completely free online conference that brings the cloud computing community together to connect, collaborate and learn about AWS and the cloud.
What is AWS?
Amazon Web Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis. These cloud computing web services provide distributed computing processing capacity and software tools via AWS server farms.
How To Join AWS Summit India 2022 Event?
You can join from wherever you are. It is completely online from 25th to 26 May of this year. Talking about the schedule of the two days, there will be 2 keynotes, 17 tracks, 5 exponential zones, and over 150 different sessions.
There will be 18 keynote speakers that include AWS customers, AWS speakers, as well as the AWS developer community speaker and they will be over 262 speakers, both AWS customers as well AWS speakers in the breakout tracks.

Now if you attend more than 5 sessions you will get a certificate of attendance and you will also get live QnA with AWS experts. You also get $25 of AWS credits if you attend at least 5 sessions or you complete the event or the session surveys.
What exacly will be in the AWS Summit Event?
Now there will be a variety of topics that will be discussed in all of these different sessions, including AI and ML, Big Data and Analytics, Compute Anywhere, Industry Solutions, Cloud Security, Application Modernization, Building on AWS, Database and Storage, Training and Certification, DeepRacer, Public Sector Innovation and SASS on AWS.
Speakers at AWS 2022 Event –
Talking about the speakers that you will be having, on 25th May, day 1 starts with an opening note from Puneet Chandhok who is the President of India in South Asia AISPL who’ll be giving an overview of the AWS journey in India and how they have empowered builders and businesses to build India of tomorrow.
Matt Wood, the VP of Business Analytics will also be joining as the keynote speaker. Followed by the AWS customers like Tejas Goenka from Tally Solutions, Bhargav Dasgupta from ICICI Lombard, Vikas Purohit from TATA Unistore, and Ekta Parashar, the head of Enterprise Solutions architecture will be talking about how customers like Mahindra are leveraging AWS and will also be interacting with Naveen from Yes Bank, Hizmy Haseen from Apollo tyres and AWS community hero Bhuvaneshwari Subramani.
And for the first time ever you have a dedicated track Build On AWS led by the AWS developer community members.
26th May will begin with an inspiring speech from Phil Davis, who is the VP of Worldwide and commercial sales of AWS and he will be talking about digital transformation. Followed by Vaishali, who’s the director of the enterprise business in India, will be talking about the cloud adoption journey of enterprise in India, showcasing some of the marquee customers. And last but not least, Asela Parera from Dialog Axiata and Sourabh Chatterjee, the head of technology, will be talking about their modernization journeys on AWS.
It’s an action-packed event. Make sure that you attend it if you are into cloud computing. You will get to learn a lot and even get to meet some really interesting people. Make sure that you try your best to connect, make new friends, and get new opportunities in your career.
